About Me

Brian is a Southwest Ohio based Scenic Designer, Technical Director, and Theatrical Educator. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he fell in love with theatre as a dancer in high school, leading him to pursue a dual B.F.A. in Performance and Technical Theatre from Florida Southern College.
Post graduation, Brian pursued his MFA from Kent State University and simultaneously built his professional credits with Rubber City Theatre serving as production manager, technical director, and scenic charge for mainstage productions from 2019-2022.
Currently, Brian works as an educator and mentor to students as an Instructor of Scenic Design at Wright State University.
In addition to his academic work, Brian diligently continues to freelance as a designer hoping to collaborate with new artists, especially those focusing on Theatrical New Work and collaboration with Queer storytellers.
Outside of theatre Brian loves spending time with his family and his loving partner Patrick, and enjoys hiking, craft beer, travel, and cooking.
